Called to Care: Foster or Support

With almost 9,000 children in foster care in Tennessee we need community members to step up and get involved. There is a way for everyone to help. You can become a foster parent OR you can support children and families in foster care. Join us September 22, at Woodward Avenue Church of God, located at 507 Woodward Avenue Athens TN 37303, to learn how you can help. Doors will open at 5:30 and the event will start at 6 pm. If you want to become a foster parent DCS, Youth Villages, Clarvida, and TN Baptist Children's Home will be set up to answer questions and provide information about becoming licensed and caring for children in foster care. There will also be experienced foster families to share their experiences. Not interested in fostering? We have a place for you as well! Organizations that serves families will be on hand to give information on ways to get involved and make an impact! We are thankful to have Isaiah 117 House, CASA, Found Farm, and TN Kids Belong joining us.
