Whitney Reynolds

Board of Director

Whitney Reynolds was born in Loudon, TN and raised nearby in Sweetwater, TN. After high school graduation, she attended Cleveland  State Community College where she received her A.A.S. in Office Systems Administration. She has lived and worked in McMinn County, TN since 1994. Whitney has been employed with McMinn County Government for more than 27 years, 13 years at the McMinn County Sheriff's Department and the last 14 years at the McMinn County Courthouse in the Finance Office.

Whitney became aware of the plight of orphans on an international level in 2010 during her first mission trip to Ghana, Africa. That trip ignited a spark in Whitney which resulted in the creation of an adoption ministry called Hearts4Ghana. The Hearts4Ghana ministry walked hand in hand with adoptive families through the international adoption process of orphans from Ghana at no expense to the families. The ministry ended in 2014/2015 when U.S laws changed.

Whitney most recently served as church treasurer for more than four years. The combination of her financial experience as well as her history of compassion regarding the plight of children who need a stable home life made her an excellent candidate for treasurer of Foster Village East TN. She looks forward to serving foster families in the four county region that she has always called home.
